If you grew up in the 2000s, chances are you definitely wished your long-lost grandmother would suddenly arrive in town and reveal you were secretly a princess in an adorable little European country called Genovia. The dream. The 2001 film The Princess Diaries and its 2004 sequel had us all wishing we were Mia Thermopolis.
But anyone who has read the brilliant book series by Meg Cabot knows that there are some serious differences between The Princess Diaries book and the films; namely, in the books Mia’s dad is alive and a major character. So why did Disney decide to kill him off for the films? According to Cabot, it was because of Dame Julie Andrews.
The celebrated author recently revealed to Entertainment Weekly that she was surprised when Disney told her they wanted to write out one of her main characters. That is, until she heard why.
“[Mia’s father] plays a big role in the books,” She explained to EW. “I was like, ‘Oh, oh, my God, what did he do [for Disney to kill him off]?’ And they said, ‘Well, we have this actress, who’s a really big actress, that we want to play the grandmother. And we wanna make her role much bigger, and kinda raise the stakes, and give her a lot more lines, and we think we can give her a lotta the dad lines.’ And I was like, ‘Well who’s the actress?’ And they were like, ‘Julie Andrews.’ I was like, ‘Oh my God, kill the dad.’ I was like, it’s Julie Andrews, sure.”

I think most of you know that I’m demisexual (I don’t have sexual attraction unless there’s a deep bond between me and my partner , so one night stands or sex with strangers are a nope to me , but I totally respect other’s people opinion about it ) .
Its weird that how I express my sexuality is so weird to others like some people cannot believe that a nsfw artist is not actually a very sexual person or basically denying demisexuality Like I’m lying or making a new concept for myself.
I don’t know if I’m the only erotic artist that is like that (I highly doubt that) , I mean I can read erotic comics , I can watch porn , I can even get aroused by porn material but real experiences are a total no unless I accomplish requirements that I mentioned before.

Look, it’s not a different sexuality if you simply can’t have casual sex. I’m like that too, and I don’t consider myself “demisexual”. It’s just something made up by tumblr users. Sure, it’s easier to describe yourself by simply saying “I’m demisexual” than “I don’t feel atracted to anyone I don’t know or have strong bonds with and casual sex is weird to me”, but it shouldn’t be treated as a whole new sexuality.
opinion accepted , it’s just a way to describe something , like you said it’s easier to say demisexual than not into casual sex or sex with strangers but just saying “I’m not into casual sex” that lead people to opinions like “maybe you havent find the right one” or “you should experience more sex before you lead to that conclusion” , I think when you come to a solid argument like “I’m demisexual” in someway people get the things easier (happened with a lot of friends ) , yeah maybe is not a whole new sexuality maybe is something some tumblr user made it . but I feel like I total fit in it , and well If I’m wrong well that’s ok I can live my life in a total mistake , but that’s the way I express my sexuality.
